William is a playful boy who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. He lives together with both his parents, two brothers and two sisters. They live in a communal land in a mud grass thatched house. They get their water from a nearby shallow well. The mother is the bread winner who depends on weaving and selling brooms and the father has got no work to cater for the family. The family’s annual income is less than $ 360 which hardly meets their basic needs. This challenge has forced the family to struggle hard to get food, medical care, school supply, house supply and other necessities. William goes to a nearby school in their village and performs well in drawing. William likes playing with handmade toys with his friends during his free time. He also likes playing football with his friends. Community leaders referred the parents to seek help from child fund project to assist William achieve his dreams. According to his parents, William would like to be a doctor in future. Your support will bring a lasting change to William’s life.
