Syafa is a girl living in the Semarang city in the Central Java Province. She is enrolled in fifth grade of elementary school where she enjoys learning English literature and dreams of becoming a teacher with hobby of reading. Her father earns a living as a construction worker with inconsistent income in a month, while her mother is a housewife who is unskilled and cannot find any job to add to the family income. It has been a challenge to make ends meet for the family with 7 people in the household. To help this family provide adequate care, education, and child protection and fulfill her rights as a child, we are passionate about welcoming her into the ChildFund program. Your kind sponsorship will directly improve the well-being of children through our program and will have a bigger cause since helping her and her family means helping other children in the community. In addition, it will support their way to achieve a bright future and be an agent of change.
